Former presidential candidate Professor George Wajackoyah now says if he vied for the presidency against Deputy President (DP) Rigathi Gachagua, he would beat him in Mt Kenya region.

Speaking to the media, Prof Wajackoyah accused DP Gachagua of banning him from visiting central region.

“Why do you ban people like me from going to Mt Kenya to spread my message? If I run for election today, Baba is still alive but I’m just saying…

“If I run for elections today, suppose I was to run for the presidency, me and Gachagua, I would defeat him in Mt Kenya very early in the morning,” Wajackoyah asserted.

The Roots Party leader said that in Kenya, Gachagua was interfering with his supporters, yet he received royal treatment abroad.

Wajackoyah just returned to the country after a trip to various countries including; the United States and the United Kingdom.

“In Jamaica napewa red carpet, in the UK napewa red carpet, I am walking with presidents,” he added.

During late President Daniel Moi’s era, DP Gachagua was a district officer while Prof Wajackoya was an intelligence officer.

He regrets that the second in command’s behavior is still below the required standards even after rising above the ranks.

“Why would Gachagua say that we have tigers in Kenya? Pure lies!! If he was in the U.S he would have been impeached.

“I want Gachagua to resign for telling lies about this country,” Prof Wajackoyah affirmed.

Moses Kuria should go!

The former presidential candidate appeared to be unhappy with a few more characters in President William Ruto’s administration.

He criticized the head of state for failing to address Trade CS Moses Kuria’s ‘loose tongue’.

“Moses Kuria is insane. He should go like yesterday. How can you tell people to ‘chimba’ your own well and he is still a cabinet secretary and the president has not said anything?” Wajackoyah posed.

He further called for resignation of Kiharu Member of Parliament Ndindi Nyoro, who is also the Chair of Budget and Appropriations Committee in the National Assembly.
