“We get a monthly salary of KSh800k each,” Mungai Eve’s boyfriend speaks on their earnings

YouTube couple Mungai Eve and director Trevor have opened up on how much they earn from their social media platforms.

In a Q & A session on Instagram, Trevor stated that each of them gets a monthly salary of KSh800,000 drawn from YouTube instream ads and Facebook.

Trevor pointed out that this figure was arrived at after enlisting themselves as employees of Mungai Eve Media which has 14 staff members.

Mungai Eve earns more than Trevor?

This led to birth of questions such as ‘Is it true that Mungai Eve earns more than you?’.

In response, Trevor alluded that he does not have a problem with his girlfriend making more money than him.

“Even if angekua anaearn more than me to me it’s not an issue for us. We believe in equal opportunities and value eac value each other’s contributions to our family and the company.

“Our focus is together on working as a team, supporting and empowering each other to achieve our goals. We believe that financial success should not be limited by gender, and we embrace the equal earning potential that exists in our relationship,” he explained.

How we earn money on YouTube- Trevor

In an era where almost all content creators are chasing after YouTube revenues, Trevor shared a few tips on how they made it big on the platform.

“We try to major in exclusive interviews that lead to a higher CPM and generate more revenue by providing unique content, attracting a larger audience, appealing to premium advertisers, improving audience targeting, and creating sponsorship opportunities,” he added.

Last year alone, Mungai Eve YouTube platform brought in an estimated revenue of KSh13.6 million, revealed screenshots by Trevor.

Mungai Eve’s Spending Habits

Apparently, their spending habits are also quite high. Trevor shared screenshots from their M-Pesa statements for the month of August showing they spent KSh1.1 million.

“I try not to spend a lot but madam fashionova kill me with those invoices,” he replied, alongside the image.

Director Trevor graduated with a diploma in Mass Communication from Jomo Kenyatta University of Agriculture and Technology.

The couple has been together for five years.
