Katherine Kamau popularly known as Kate Actress divulged that her ex-husband Philip Karanja alias Phil Director and herself did not have an instant connection when they first met.
In a 2021 interview on Churchill, Kate said that she met Phil on the Mother-in-Law set, a show that airs on Citizen TV.
“Funny enough, we never used to like each other because he thought my cousin and I were too much,” said Kate
“My cousin and I would come to the set hangovered haven’t not mastered our lines yet he was the one directing.”
“If you would have told him I would be his wife at that time he would have refused,” Kate further revealed.
