"Well deserved!" - Kenyans congratulate Prof. Kithure Kindiki

President William Ruto has nominated Prof. Kithure Kindiki as his deputy president, hours after the Senate upheld the impeachment of Rigathi Gachagua.

National Assembly Speaker informed Members of Parliament that he had received a notification from President Ruto on Friday, October 18 morning over the same.

Kindiki is the current Cabinet Secretary in the Ministry of Interior and National Administration.

Several Kenyans have sent their congratulatory messages to Prof. Kindiki, including COTU Secretary-General Francis Atwoli.
