Former TV journalist Jacque Maribe has penned an emotional message to digital strategist Dennis Itumbi, who is celebrating his birthday today.
In the message, posted on her Instagram page, Maribe revealed that she has been in a friendship with Itumbi for 20 years now.
“The 2 solid decades of friendship have been a testament of highs and lows, and love all the same,” Maribe, who was recently acquitted in businesswoman Monica Kimani murder case, wrote.
She also used the birthday message to set the record straight with regards her relationship with Itumbi.
Kenyans have been speculating that the two are in a romantic relationship, especially they way Itumbi stood with Maribe all through the lengthy murder case.
But, as Maribe puts it, theirs has been a platonic relationship.
She went further to say that her — together with other friends in the picture — will be responsible for finding Itumbi a wife this year.
“This new year around the sun, this group in this picture will help you find a wife, so everyone stop assuming it’s me,” she added.
