Police recovers 24 stolen goats as suspected bandits and cattle rustlers narrowly escape Police arrest in Chesegon, West Pokot
National Police Reservist NPR have recovered 24 goats that had been stolen at Chesegon by suspected bandits from the neighbouring county of Elgeyo Marakwet.

The operation that was led by West Pokot county police commander Issa Muhammad marks a significant step in the fight against livestock theft and banditry in hot spot areas of Kerio Valley region.
“This successful rescue highlights the important role of the NPR in maintaining peace and security in regions affected by cattle rustling” Said Mr.Muhammad.

West Pokot Governor Simon Kachapin last week during a a celebration to honour National Police Reservists reaffirmed his administration’s commitment.
To enhancing security by supporting law enforcement efforts and strengthening NPR personnel in volatile areas.
