Police in Narok South are investigating an incident where their colleague was found beaten to a pulp on Saturday, June 9 at Ololulunga Market.
Corporal Paul Macharia — attached to Ololulunga Police Station — was found lying unconscious after he was assaulted by unknown persons just a few meters from his house.
The officers received the report from concerned members of the public who found the officer helpless.
“He was found lying unconscious having been assaulted by unknown persons on the night of 08/06/2024 and 09/06/2024 at unknown time. Scene was visited by police officers and documented,” a police report says.
Macharia had deep cut at the back of his head and a swollen jaw. Besides him was a packet of milk and keys.
He was rushed to Longisa hospital for treatment.
