Radio presenter Mike Mondo and his lover Shiko Nguru have finally clarified the dynamics of their relationships amid criticism.

The two were on the receiving end of trolls for the better part of Friday. The fiasco arose after Mondo posted a photo of Nguru alongside her kids, captioning it “Family”.

Barely an hour later, he pulled down the photo, but the internet was abuzz with diverse opinions about their relationship.

Mondo, who also has children, has been in a relationship with Nguru, a mother of three, for months.

However, a section of netizens criticized him for choosing a divorced mother of three instead of young women as he was already a catch.

In a late-night Instagram live session, the two clarified the dynamics of their relationship, as Mondo revealed why he chose Shiko Nguru.

“She is focused, and she has a routine, she loves her babies, she is amazing and is the best kisser in the world,” the radio presenter stated.

The two reportedly met at a work meeting and Nguru was immediately charmed by his voice. They took their conversation to emails which quickly turned into hours of phone calls.

Their friendship then transitioned into a romantic relationship and the two have been sharing photos on social media spending time together.

On her part, Nguru disclosed that Mike Mondo was her answered prayer. Apparently, he had ticked off most of the things she was looking for in a partner after her separation.

“This is the man I prayed for. So why him? it’s because I prayed for him,” she began.

After parting ways with her kids’ father, the mother of three listed 15 things she was looking out for in her future partner.

These included a certain height, a churchgoer and a man who had neck tattoos.

For Mike Mondo, he ticked off 13 of those qualities, missing out on two- height and tattoos as he did not have any. This however did not turn off Nguru from dating him.
