Prominent Tanzanian actress Wema Sepetu recently revealed that she was the one who ended her relationship with the Bongo Flava sensation, Diamond Platnumz, contrary to widespread reports.
There had been speculations suggesting that Diamond and Wema went their separate ways because she couldn’t bear a child for the music icon, resulting in a highly publicized breakup.
Wema has now provided clarity regarding the reasons behind their split, explaining that she decided to part ways with the Wasafi boss due to his unfaithful behaviour.
In an interview with Manara TV, she candidly stated, “I had reached my limit. I confronted the issues directly, addressing those that needed attention. But in the end, I made the choice to break up with Diamond.”
The former Miss Tanzanian of 2006 expressed that she had grown weary of dealing with the musician’s infidelity and remained resolute even when Diamond attempted to win her back with the gift of a car.
“I even declined his car gift in front of others because I could no longer tolerate his repeated acts of betrayal,” Wema firmly asserted.
The love story between Diamond Platnumz and Wema Sepetu dates back over a decade when the musician was just beginning to make his mark in the entertainment industry.
It marked Diamond’s first highly publicized and tumultuous relationship, with infidelity being one of its challenges.
