Kenya Airways (KQ) will resume its flight services to Eldoret on March 25, 2024.
The national carrier says that it will be operating flights to Eldoret five days a week; Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays.
Eldoret is the economic hub of Uasin Gishu and a crucial trading center for various agricultural sectors. KQ CEO Allan Kilavuka has emphasised the strategic importance of reinstating flights to Eldoret, citing the airline’s dedication to bolstering regional connectivity and facilitating access to global markets.
“Our renewed focus on the domestic market reaffirms Kenya Airways’ pivotal role in advancing Africa’s economic prosperity. By connecting Eldoret to our extensive network, we aim to stimulate growth and foster lasting socio-economic development in the region,” Kilavuka said on Wednesday, March 20.
The relaunch of flights to Eldoret, KQ says, marks a significant milestone in the airline’s post-COVID-19 recovery journey.
“As Kenya Airways prepares to resume operations to Eldoret, travelers can expect exceptional service, world-class amenities, and the utmost commitment to safety and comfort. The airline remains committed in its mission to connect people, cultures, and markets, contributing to the prosperity and well-being of communities across Africa and beyond,” Kilavuka concluded.
KQ has pledged to offer competitive airfares for flights to and from Eldoret, in a bid to ensure affordability and accessibility for travelers.
