Will Smith speaks amidst seperation rumours

EntertainmentWORLD

Leading American actor Will Smith posted a message to the public informing them that, despite the commotion surrounding his split wife Jada Pinkett-Smith and her book tour, he is prioritizing his peace.

On Sunday, October 15, 2023, Smith posted a video of himself relaxing below deck in a boat to Instagram.

He captioned the photo, “Notifications off,” and severely limited comments, allowing just Pinkett-Smith’s amused emoji response to be seen among the few that were posted.

Since Wednesday, October 11, when his estranged wife started her book tour, the actor has been in the spotlight for many days.

Unbeknownst to many, Pinkett-Smith disclosed that she and Smith had been apart for the previous seven years.

In her opinion, Smith’s decision to smack his friend Chris Rock for making fun of her during the Oscars “was a skit.”

The actress said in a different interview that she was shocked when Smith referred to her as his wife while standing up for her at the awards show because they had ceased referring to each other as “husband or wife” following their split.

She also refuted earlier reports that Will was gay during her interviews.

Old clips from her talk program, The Red Table Talk, came back to the fore as a result of her media tours.

Among these clips was the shocking 2020 episode in which she disclosed she was involved with August Alsina, a well-known singer and her son’s buddy.

Smith was her guest during this program, and the confession clearly affected him.

An additional unearthed video came from the time Pinkett-Smith said she didn’t want to get married in the Baltimore, Maryland’s Cloisters Castle back in 1997.

She described how miserable she felt on their wedding day in that episode, when her mother had her marry someone because she was expecting a child.

Many called for an official divorce for the couple under the hashtag #FreeWill after learning about Smith’s media appearances and confessions, but Smith doesn’t seem to care.
