Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump has already declared victory over his competitor, Democrat Kamala Harris.
Although the elections are yet to be called officially, several tallies shows Trump leading in both the electoral college and popular vote.
According to The Associated Press, Trump has won 267 electoral votes, compared to Kamala’s 224. In terms of popular vote, the tally says Trump is leading with 70,631,599 votes (representing 51% of votes cast), with Kamala having 65,754,979 votes (47.5%) so far.
Several world leaders have already sent their congratulatory messages to Trump and his team, even though the election has not be called officially.
