The World Rally Championship (WRC) Safari Rally Kenya 2025 is set to deliver another thrilling spectacle from March 19 to March 23, with some of the world’s best drivers tackling Kenya’s rugged terrain. The event, known for its tough conditions and unpredictable weather, will take place across Nairobi and Naivasha, featuring 21 challenging stages.
Rally Schedule and Key Highlights
The event kicks off on Wednesday, March 19, with the Shakedown at Sleeping Warrior (5.00km), where drivers will test their cars ahead of the main event.
On Thursday, March 20, the rally officially begins with the ceremonial start at KICC in Nairobi at 11:26 AM, followed by the Super Special Stage at Kasarani (4.76km) and Mzabibu 1 (8.15km) later in the afternoon.
Friday, March 21, marks the start of full rally action, with drivers navigating Camp Moran (32.20km), Loldia (19.11km), Geothermal (13.12km), and Kedong (15.10km)—some of the most grueling terrains in the competition.
The high-speed drama continues on Saturday, March 22, with Sleeping Warrior (26.88km), Elmenteita (17.31km), and Soysambu (29.32km) testing endurance and skill.
The rally concludes on Sunday, March 23, with the Oserengoni (18.33km), Mzabibu 2 (8.15km), and the iconic Hell’s Gate (10.53km) Power Stage, before the podium celebrations at 3:30 PM in Naivasha.
