The actress had a word of hope for all kids born from poor backgrounds. “This is a post of hope to everyone who was a ‘Tuone atafika wapi’ teenager, God is the only one with the final say.”

And Marya’s husband, Comedian YY also congratulated her for achieving a “no-mean-feat”.

“God is Good congratulations on your 1st Ride. Usicheze na Mungu. May this Ride come with more humility into your life…may there be zero pride but thanksgiving,” YY Comedian commented.

Nevertheless, YY encouraged her to never stop working and dreaming big for the future. “To more opportunities, to more businesses and to more prayers.”

YY acknowledged how difficult it was for one to buy their first ride but after the first one it becomes easier.

“Sisi tuko hapa kando kupiga makofi in translation, we are here to celebrate you and clap for you.”
