Ugandan celebrity Zari Hassan has disclosed that she plans to have a child with husband Shakib Lutaaya.
The mother of five went to reveal how many children she would like to sire in her new marriage.
“Yes. We are going to have a baby. We are looking forward to having a child. Maybe two, but we are trying for one,” she added.
Zari has two children with musician Diamond Platnumz- eight-year-old Tiffah Dangote and Nillan Dangote (six years).
She also has three children with late husband Ivan Semwanga.
The celebrity divulged that her desire to expand her already big family stemmed from her background.
“For real I want to have 10 kids because I come from a big African family you know. I know you will ask why are you stuck in that era but I grew up in big families and it was beautiful growing up in big families that’s why I think I always wanted 10 kids.”
The two recently returned from a trip to Mecca which they described as “life-changing”. They are six months into marriage after formalizing their union in a lavish wedding in South Africa last October.
She acknowledged that her children were skeptical of her marriage to Shakib who is 10 years younger than her.
“My children did not approve of my relationship with Shakib but after witnessing how close we were and happy, they asked him to ensure that he takes good care of me.”
