Zuchu to Diamond Platnumz on marriage: Ndoa ni kama kifo

Tanzanian pop sensation Zuchu has recently shared some riveting insights into her love life and her relationship with the charismatic Diamond Platnumz.

In a captivating video that has been making waves on social media, Zuchu revealed that she’s not one to push for marriage. Instead, she’s leaving her romantic future in the hands of a higher power, waiting for the perfect moment to come.

Zuchu’s sudden shift in perspective has taken many by surprise, especially given her previous heartfelt appeals to Diamond about their future together.

She candidly expressed that she doesn’t believe in pressuring her partner into marriage. Instead, she’s turning to prayer, seeking divine guidance for the right relationship at the right time.

“Why are people expecting marriage from me?” Zuchu pondered aloud. “Personally, I’m only asking God for marriage, not from anyone else. I’m not even asking it from my partner. You might be discussing it with your partner, but all you’re doing is adding pressure.

Adding, “Only God knows when it will happen. It could be the folly of human beings to expect otherwise, as my man or his woman might be miles away.”

Her thought-provoking remarks have ignited a flurry of discussions among fans, particularly because she likened marriage to death—something unpredictable and only known to God. “Ndoa ni kama kifo. Inakukuta kipindi hijui, hukitarajii, na ni rizki ambayo ni mungu pekee anajua itatokea lini, wapi na saa ngapi,”  she said.

These comments follow an earlier public plea where Zuchu directly asked Diamond about his intentions. During the Pangani Kunono event on April 16, Zuchu took everyone by surprise.

While performing their hit song “Watasubiri,”she took a bold step and altered the lyrics. Diamond had playfully inserted new lyrics, questioning whether Zuchu would have his child. In a clever twist, Zuchu changed her lines to ask Diamond when he would marry her: “Unanipenda mimi, unanitaka piaaaa… Unaioa lini? ama unanitumia?”

Meanwhile, Zuchu’s relationship with Diamond is being closely scrutinized, especially with Diamond caught in the crossfire of a heated conflict between his ex-girlfriend Zari Hassan and her current partner, Shakib.

The tension flared when Shakib felt disrespected after Diamond visited Zari in South Africa to celebrate their daughter’s birthday. This wasn’t the first instance of trouble; earlier this year, Zuchu and Diamond briefly split after he was seen holding hands with Zari to promote a song.

As the drama unfolds, Zuchu remains steadfast in her belief that the future of her love life is a matter of divine timing, not earthly pressures.
