Renowned media personality Betty Kyallo has disclosed she is in a relationship that could see her getting married soon.

She made her debut on TV47 Friday evening with her new weekly show dubbed This Friday with Betty.

Kyallo shared her life journey away from the screens during an interview Saturday morning on Cape Media-owned Radio 47. She was hosted by renowned presenter Ali Hassan Kauleni on Bahari Ya Elimu which airs every Saturday from 7am.

The mother of one disclosed that she was in a relationship, and was happy.

“My man is from the western region. I am now settled. I feel happy,” Kyallo explained.

Kauleni teased her on whether Kenyans should expect wedding bells soon, to which Betty responded “We will see about that. I do not want to speak much about it and then something happens.”

She also divulged that she was better off dating in her thirties.

“Women in our thirties we make very good partners in relationships because we have a lot of experience. We have been through a lot in life.”

Kyallo admitted that for a man she loves, she becomes very submissive.

“Nikikupenda nafanya kila kitu. Napika, nakupiga magoti, massage nakufanyia. lakini yote ni kama nakupenda. Kama sikupendi siwezi fanya izo vitu zote.

(When I love a man I will do anything for them. I cook, I kneel, I massage them, anything. However, I have to love you for me to do all these. If I do not love you).”

Her love life has however with its fair share of love and hate online, and Betty admits it is difficult to navigate this as a celebrity.

“You know I have been doing this for 13 years now. I have learnt to develop thick skin because some things which people go through privately I go through them in the public light. It is not easy but I just find ways of getting by.”
