Why did armed men clobber boda boda rider to death in Kakamega?

Police in Kakamega are investigating the murder of Nicholas Onyango from Emulele village, who was assaulted by a group of armed men today, July 4th, 2024.

In a report, the deceased was a boda boda operator working night shifts, who succumbed to severe cuts inflicted on his head, neck, hands, and legs.

His identity was confirmed after the police, together with the scenes of crime personnel, visited the crime scene at Emulele village, Sichirai Sub-Location.

The suspects are said to have been armed with crude weapons.

The motive behind the killing is not known, and investigations into the incident have commenced.

The body of the deceased was moved to Kakamega Funeral Palour awaiting autopsy.
